Making Wendy’s advertise For a non-existent company at the Super Bowl

And We didn’t show a single hamburger

When Wendy’s wanted to go after “the other guys” (AKA their frozen-patty-slinging competition), we created a fake company called Othr-Guyz, LLC to be our legally safe punching bag. We took it all the way to the big game for Wendy’s first ever Super Bowl spot, and the Othr Guyz legend lived on in many iterations. My favorite is below.

Wendy’s would never use frozen beef patties for eating, so we imagined all the reasons someone might actually want to use a frozen disk of meat. It was an Incredible™ success.
