Introducing household names to a new generation
Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams… these are all household names, but they carried little to no weight with Gen Z apart from their nostalgia and ubiquity. We needed to show up, to have a presence and a personality, and remind people why they instinctively call slideshow ‘PowerPoints.’ Fortunately, with so many uses in every day life, we had an easy time relating to every day life, especially after living on these apps for 2 years in a pandemic.
Fun fact: Microsoft 365 was the first brand to release their own filter organically on Tik Tok.
